Bruins Ready For Game Seven Showdown Against Hurricanes

The Bruins are extending their first round series with the Hurricanes after a 5-2 win in Game Six.

After a scoreless first period, Brad Marchand opened the second with his fourth goal of the series less than a minute into the period.

Charlie Coyle, Erik Haula, Derek Forbort, and Curtis Lazar also scored for the B's in the win.

Jeremy Swayman stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced to improve his postseason record to 3-and-1. Swayman says they will hope now for a little luck to get through game seven.

Andrei Svechnikov tallied a couple of goals for the Canes in the loss.

Boston and Carolina are now tied at three games apiece with Game Seven set for Saturday night in Raleigh.
