A new athletic field house at Chariho High School has opened bearing the name of a student who passed away five years ago.
Seventeen-year-old Maddie Potts died from an aneurysm while taking a penalty kick during a soccer game.
The Maddie Potts Memorial Field house was dedicated on Sunday.
Over a half-million dollars was raised by the community to get it built.
