School Year Begins at URI

(Kingston, RI) -- Fall classes have officially begun at the University of Rhode Island. Young people spent most of the Labor Day weekend moving in while all students were required to be tested for COVID-19 before arriving on campus. Classes started on Wednesday morning. More than 17,000 students are being welcomed back to the Narragansett Bay, Providence and Kingston campuses. There are also 21 sets of twins beginning their first-year at URI.
