The Providence Bruins are off to a good start opening the 2022-23 hockey season with an impressive 3-1 win over the Bridgeport Islanders on Friday night.
Providence scored all their goals in the first period and within a three minute span.
Saturday night, they traveled to Springfield to take on the division rival Springfield Thunderbirds.
The Bruins took the Sunday afternoon game 4-3 over The Thunderbirds.
After a 1 all tie in the first period, they scored three times in the second period and then played solid defense the rest of the way.
The Bruins play three games in three nights at The Amp, Friday against Bridgeport again.
Then Saturday against Utica and Sunday that take on Wilkes Barre.
