A Woonsocket man is facing assault charges for allegedly driving a car into his former workplace intentionally.
Police say Scott Stern rammed the vehicle through the front entrance of the Dollar Tree on Park Avenue in Woonsocket on Tuesday, narrowly missing two people inside.
Stern, who had been fired on Monday, allegedly caused further chaos inside the store before police had to subdue him with a Taser.
He is expected to be arraigned on a variety of charges later today.
