(Providence, RI) -- Daniel McKee is the projected winner of Rhode Island's race for Governor. NBC reports the Democratic incumbent beat Republican Ashley Kalus to maintain his position. McKee has been Governor of Rhode Island since 2021, after his predecessor Gina Raimondo was selected to join the US Senate.
