A 21-year-old Rhode Island woman has died after a single vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Stonington, Connecticut.
Police say Samantha Stone of Hopkinton died when the car left I-95 south and struck a tree early Sunday morning.
A male passenger was found standing on the highway near the crash site, and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating to determine what caused the crash.
