Rhode Island College is getting ready for the spring semester.
And with it a mask requirement has been adjusted at Rhode Island College because of the high risk of COVID transmission in Providence County.
Masks will be required in classrooms, faculty offices and labs unless the professor or staff member waives the requirement.
Masks will be encouraged, but not required, in all buildings and at events.
The college says it believes it's a reasonable balance between changing circumstances and a practical campus mitigation policy.
