A Rhode Islander who was charged in connection to the 2021 U.S. Capitol attack is seeking a change of plea after reaching an agreement with federal prosecutors.
Bernard Sirr of North Kingstown faced felony civil disorder and several misdemeanor charges for allegedly entering the Capitol grounds and confronting police.
A hearing for the change-of-plea request is scheduled for January 27th.
