With temperatures rising above 60 degrees today (2/10/23), many people are all talking about what an incredibly strange winter this has been in Southern New England. While it has certainly been mild, the season isn't quite in the books as a history maker. On today's noon broadcast, Storm Team 10 meteorologist Jason Doris showed this graphic comparing past winters over the same time period, Dec. 21-- February 10. The winter of 2022/2023 comes in at #6 so far, on the all-time list of least snowy winters, with just 4.9 inches.

However... February is generally a snowy month, so it's possible we will catch up to some other un-snowy years. Jason says that the magic number is 9.7 inches of snow. If we fail to hit that mark by March 20th, this winter will go into the record books as our least snowy one ever.

What do you think? Will we get at least 4.8 inches in the next six weeks? Or will we break the record?
