A town hall meeting is planned for this afternoon to inform the public about the steps being taken for a new state hospital facility.
Governor Dan McKee's administration plans to invest over one-hundred-million dollars to enhance Eleanor Slater Hospital in Burrillville.
According to McKee's office, a feasibility study is being used to identify the care needs of Rhode Islanders, as well as the scope and size of the project.
The meeting at the hospital campus in Pascoag starts at 2:30 p.m.
