Providence is looking to increase the ranks when it comes to its fire department.
The Providence Fire Academy is now accepting applications as the city looks to boost its number of firefighters.
In order to be considered, individuals must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and have a valid driver's license.
They'd also need to be able to pass both a written test and a physical ability test before their careers can begin.
Applications are available online and must be filled out by March 31st.
