General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut and Quonset Point is planning to hire nearly six-thousand workers in 2023.
That's on top of the roughly four-thousand workers hired by the submarine-building company in 2022.
Electric Boat says the newly-announced hiring goals reflect the demand from the Navy on a variety of levels.
