Providence College introduced the new head coaches of its men's and women's basketball teams today.
Athletic Director Steve Napolillo said men's coach Kim English and women's coach Erin Batth will rewrite PC basketball history.
"I can't tell you the excitement I am feeling, the last seven days have been late nights of joy," Napolillo said. "We are welcoming two shining stars and two rising rockets to the Friar family. They are going to rewrite history."
Both coaches said they are excited for the opportunity and asked for the fans continued support.
English left George Mason as its head basketball coach. Batth is coming to PC from Michigan where she was an assistant coach.
Governor Dan McKee welcoming both coaches to the state yesterday.
The Governor says "there is no question in my mind that the future is bright at PC."
