Former Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo is on Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2023 list.
She resigned office in 2021 to join the Biden administration as U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
Raimondo has been credited for her work to help revive American manufacturing and to try and rebuild the country's technological infrastructure.
She's also cited for efforts to fortify supply chains and strengthen national security.
