Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Providence this weekend.
Officers responded to a disturbance in a neighborhood on March Street overnight Saturday.
According to multiple reports, the homicide victim was Isiah Rosario, a freshman at Concord High School in New Hampshire who used to live in Rhode Island. He was reported missing as a runaway several weeks ago.
Providence police chief Oscar Perez called the incident an extremely sad loss of a young life in the city due to senseless gun violence.
Police have not come up with a motive for the tragic shooting.
