A federal judge has canceled Thursday's scheduled detention hearing for Massachusetts National Guardsman Jack Teixeira, who is charged with leaking classified documents on the Internet.
The order issued by U.S. Magistrate Judge David Hennessy on Wednesday did not indicate if the hearing was being rescheduled.
Prosecutors have argued Teixeira would flee if he was released from custody, and pointed to a high school suspension he received for commenting about weapons in 2018.
Teixeira, from Dighton, worked as an IT specialist for the 102nd Intelligence Wing at Joint Base Cape Cod.
