The National Weather Service has extended a Red Flag Warning for Rhode Island today
The Warning is from 8AM through to 8PM tonight because of dry conditions, low humidity and gusting winds.
The weather service says Southern New England is experiencing critical fire weather conditions.
Firefighters in Attleboro dealt with a six-acre brush fire on Tuesday, after they handled a twenty-acre brush fire last weekend.
