Rhode Island weather is trying to transition into summer.
After a warm Memorial Day weekend, there was a cool down on Monday.
The National Weather Service says temperatures will rebound into the 80s in the Providence area on Thursday and Friday, then drop back down to around 70 degrees for the first weekend of June.
Watch out today for areas of smoke from wildfires burning in Nova Scotia.
Canadian officials have called the wildfire - which has caused the evacuation of thousands, a "rare event".
