Travel + Leisure Magazine has named Rhode Island as one of the 11 best places to travel in the world in July.
It says the smallest state is gorgeous in the summer with nearly 400-miles of coastline.
The magazine takes note of Westerly for its beaches, boating and outdoor activities and the gilded age mansions in Newport.
It also praises Waterfire and several luxury boutique hotels in Providence.
