Mass Among Most Expensive To Rent Apartment

The "Out Of Reach" report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition says it would take more than two full time jobs, and then some at minimum wage in order to afford a two bedroom apartment in the state.

In order to support that apartment you would have to make more than 41 dollars an hour.

Massachusetts was third most expensive in the nation behind California and Hawaii.

Connecticut came in at number 9 needing almost 32 dollars an hour to maintain an apartment.

Rhode Island came in at number 16 needing more than 27 dollars an hour to afford an apartment.

West Virginia was the cheapest at 16 -64 an hour.
