Rhode Island skipper Charlie Enright and the 11th Hour Racing Team are making history.
They have become the first U.S.-flagged team to win the worldwide sailing competition.
Enright, who is from Bristol, says it is an exceptional honor to be the first U.S. team to lift the trophy.
The 11th Hour Team experienced some adversity during the race, including a suspected whale strike which left a crew member concussed.
