East Matunuck Beach in South Kingstown is reopening.
The beach was closed earlier this week because at least twenty syringes washed ashore.
Officials believe the dangerous debris was picked up in heavy rains from somewhere else in the state.
The Department of Environmental Management says East Matunuck Beach has been sifted to make sure it's again safe for recreation.
