Two hospitals in Rhode Island are being impacted by a cyberattack.
They are Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence.
Parent company Prospect Medical Holdings, which also operates facilities in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Texas, said on Friday it's investigating the attack which prompted its network to shut down emergency rooms and redirect ambulance services.
Prospect Medical said it is focused on addressing patient need, while working to resume normal operations as quickly as possible.
