NWS: Franklin Could Be A Providence Concern

The National Weather Service Boston is keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Franklin and seeing how close it will get to Southern New England.

Franklin is predicted to work its way up the Atlantic coast by next Tuesday into Wednesday.

The next chance for measurable precipitation is forecast for tonight through Friday night.

The weather service says the Providence area could get nearly two inches of rain.
