Voters Head To Polls In Congressional Prelim

When voters go to the polls today to cast ballots in the First Congressional DIstrict race- the Justice Department will be monitoring the polls in Central Falls, Pawtucket, Providence and Woonsocket.

DOJ officials say there are no anticipated issues - it is something that they do to insure voting rights for all eligible voters throughout the country.

There are 12 names on the ballot looking to make the cut to the final November elections ballot and the right to succeed longtime Congressman David Cicilline in Washington.

The Polls will close tonight at 8pm.
