Pawtucket Officer Arrested For DUI

Pawtucket police officer Daniel Dolan has been charged with DUI in Coventry.

Dolan was found not guilty of assault in connection to shooting a teen civilian in West Greenwich two years ago.

He has been suspended with pay for the incident while the city of Pawtucket goes through the Law Enforcement Officers Bill of Rights process.

Police in Coventry, where Dolan lives, say he failed field sobriety tests after he was stopped on Main Street last Saturday.

Dolan was also charged with a felony for allegedly making threats at the police station afterwards.
