New mosquito-borne disease findings are being released by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.
West Nile virus has been detected in a sample from Westerly, while triple-E has been found in a mosquito on Block Island.
There have been zero human cases of either disease diagnosed in the Ocean State this year.
Massachusetts and Connecticut have reported five human cases of West Nile.
