Improvements have been unveiled at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence.
A new roof is being installed, there's a new system to adjust seating rows to better accommodate basketball and hockey fans, and a new sub-floor for a better barrier between the hockey ice and basketball floor.
The state committed about 19-million-dollars for the upgrades to the arena that used to be known as the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
The Governor says the complex is instrumental in increasing economic development in the city and the region.
