The Jewish community of Southern New England is coming together following the deadly conflict that broke out this weekend between Israel and Hamas.
More than a thousand Israelis and Palestinians have been killed, and officials have confirmed some casualties were Americans.
Temple Beth-El in Providence held a prayer service for peace on Sunday.
The Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island is holding a vigil in Providence at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Community Center on Elmgrove Avenue.
