Bruins Top Hawks On Opening Night In Boston

The Bruins came from behind to win their season opener against the Blackhawks.

Boston topped Chicago 3-1 at TD Garden. Connor Bedard opened the scoring after tucking the puck behind Linus Ullmark for the first goal of his career.

The B's bounced back after Trent Frederic tipped a Brandon Carlo shot past Arvid Soderblom for his first of the season.

David Pastrnak scored off a Milan Lucic feed in the second period to give the Bruins the lead.

Pastrnak added an empty netter in the third to seal the win.

Boston is tied atop the Atlantic Division with two points at 1-0-and-0.

Chicago leads the Central Division with two points at 1-1-and-0.
