A 12 hour standoff in Warwick between a man and police ended last night with the man taking his own life.
Police were called to a home on Sarah Teft Drive for a report of a man with a gun during a domestic issue.
Police at one point were able to talk with the man but at some point the communication broke down.
Sometime later police reported hearing a single gunshot.
The man said to be in his fifties.
They are releasing no other details at this time.
