Governor: State Monitoring Rising Rivers

Governor Dan McKee says the state is keeping a close eye on bridges and rivers across Rhode Island as the storm system passes through.

Flooding remains a concern along the coasts and inner waterways, and streets are expected to back up during the morning commute in urban areas.

Travel for the morning commute is expected to be slower than normal and motorists are urged to take extra time.

Mass transit will be affected, and the Bristol-Providence ferry service is canceled for today.
