Warwick Mayor, Airport Disagreement On Truck Traffic

Warwick city officials and the agency which oversees T.F. Green International Airport remain deadlocked on an agreement, regarding commercial vehicles on local roadways.

Last week, the Rhode Island Airport Commission agreed to a plan that would alleviate truck traffic to and from a planned cargo facility, but Mayor Frank Picozzi is opposed, as the plan only applies to FedEx and UPS vehicles.

RIAC President John Goodman says plans for the facility are moving forward.
