Police have arrested a person of interest in connection with a fatal shooting in Pawtucket.
Authorities were called to the 400 block of Central Avenue at around 8 p.m. Friday, where they found the victim, 33-year-old Jocelyn Docouto of Central Falls suffering from several gunshot wounds.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Arrested was Michael Fernandes, 34, of Pawtucket on charges of domestic murder, violation of a no-contact order, and firearms counts.
He is scheduled for arraignment in Providence District Court today.
