The University of Rhode Island is changing the format for spring commencement ceremonies this spring.
The ceremonies will be divided into a three-day event, which officials say will provide a more inclusive experience for graduates, their families, and attendees.
Commencement will take place at the Ryan Center the weekend of May 17th through the 19th.
