Effective next Tuesday, Rhode Island will become the seventh state to permit iGaming.
The method of gambling allows residents to place bets from their homes, either by personal computer or handheld device.
Craig Eaton, president of Bally's operations in Rhode Island says the experience is similar to being in a casino.
The state legislature approved iGaming in June of last year-state studies, and Bally's estimate iGaming will bring in between 160 and 210 million dollars in revenue over the next five years.
The same authentication process required for sports betting in the state will be used to ensure only residents 21 and over are participating.
