Sentencing was handed down Wednesday in the case of a man convicted in a fatal DUI crash.
Thirty-two-year-old Alexander Krajewski of North Kingstown pleaded no contest to two DUI charges, one resulting in death, with the second in serious bodily injury. He will serve 12 years behind bars.
The crash on Route 165 in Exeter in February 2022 claimed the life of 17-year-old Matt Dennison.
The second victim, Kevin MacDonald, 19, suffered serious injuries. Krajewski, who apologized in court, was also fined six thousand dollars, had his license suspended for seven years after his release, and must complete a substance abuse program.
