Police have made an arrest in connection with a 1999 murder.
The case involved the strangulation death of 41-year-old Kathleen O'Dowd Boleman, who was found behind Roger Williams Middle School in March of that year.
A suspect at the time was Kevin Williams, but police did not have enough evidence to charge him with the killing.
Detectives recently uncovered new evidence and interviewed witnesses.
Last week, a grand jury indicted Williams, now 53, on a murder charge.
He is being held without bail and is due back in court on April 24th.
