First Brown, Now Providence College Students Protest Mid East War

Some students who attend Providence College want school leaders to release a statement expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people as the war in Gaza continues.

They gathered on the campus of the Catholic, Dominican college Wednesday in support of other Rhode Island students who are protesting the war and calling on their universities to divest from companies that are profiting from it.

The Providence College students say it's the duty of a Christian institution to take a moral stance. The protests come barely a day after Brown University students ended their encampments.

So far, there has been no comment from the college.
