The Atlantic Cup is underway and the 2024 course is bringing teams back to Newport for the first time since 2014.
The first leg started in Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday, with eight boats beginning a 704-nautical mile race to Newport.
The racers are expected to arrive in Newport today and they will have a stop-over before beginning the second leg of the race at noon Saturday, heading to Portland, Maine.
The race will end in Portland with a two-day coastal series on June 6th and 7th.
