A first responder is injured following a Wednesday night hit-and-run in Coventry.
Emergency crews were responding to a medical call on Victory Highway at around 9:00 p.m. when a car struck and injured one of the crew members and left the scene.
One first responder suffered serious injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital -- and a second crew member was taken to Kent County Hospital for an evaluation.
Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Coventry Police.
