Pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered outside of the Rhode Island Democratic Party's state convention Sunday to protest "genocide, U.S. imperialism and Israeli apartheid."
The demonstration by the Democratic Socialists of America and the R.I. Uncommitted campaign, took place as Democrats endorsed Sheldon Whitehouse and Seth Magaziner.
Protesters wanted the party to send a candidate who would vote "uncommitted" at the national convention to challenge what they say are President Biden's "pro-war policies."
