The Warwick City Council has approved a plan that will bring school zone and red-light cameras to the city.
Council members say the school zone cameras will only give out tickets during school hours and school days but the red-light cameras will operate 24-7.
City Council President Steve McAlister says the cameras will not be up and running for several months and there will be a grace period before tickets are issued.
Speed violations will cost 50-dollars and red-light tickets will cost a driver 85-dollars.
