Two Baystate Residents Arrested For Cranston Shoplifting Incident

Federal and State Police arrested two people in connection with that shoplifting incident in Cranston where they tried to get away- running over an officer’s foot in the process.

That officer discharged their weapon in the process.

24-year-old Michael Campagna of South Boston and Meagan O’Brien on Lynn were arrested at the JFK Train Station.

Both are being held in Massachusetts awaiting rendition to Rhode Island.

At the time of the Cranston incident, both had active warrants for felony or misdemeanor shoplifting.

No word on when they will return to the state.
