29 New State Troopers Take Oath Of Office

Twenty-nine new Rhode Island State Troopers have graduated from the Rhode Island Training Academy.

"Service in the Rhode Island State Police is not merely a job; it is a calling that demands the highest standards of excellence." said Colonel Darnell S. Weaver, Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police and Director of the Department of Public Safety. "May your careers be long, fulfilling, and marked by the continued pursuit of excellence.

The troopers will be assigned throughout the entire state.
