A 23-year-old Pawtucket man is charged for allegedly lying about his criminal record in an effort to buy a gun from a licensed dealer in 2023.
The Attorney General's Office said Richard Osoria was turned down after a background check.
Authorities said he was arrested twice in 2022 for domestic incidents which prevents him from having a gun under federal law.
Osoria is due in court in September.
