There's a flood watch in Rhode Island from now through Saturday night..
The National Weather Service said heavy rainfall could cause rivers, streams and other low-lying areas to flood.
Meteorologists say Bristol RI, Eastern Kent RI, Newport RI, Northwest Providence RI, Southeast Providence RI, Washington RI and Western Kent RI are all in the flood watch area.
Forecasters also warn of the possibility of flooding in poor drainage and urban areas.
