It's a beach weekend in the Ocean State.
If the forecast is correct the weekend will be sunny and warm for all the outdoor activities.
The Folk Festival is underway in Newport where gates opened at 10:00 this morning and Aquapalooza is on tap for tomorrow.
Meantime there are three beach closures in effect.
The Department of Health recommended the closing yesterday of the swimming area at Kent County YMCA, Kingston's Camp and Camp Hoffman.
