A Woburn, Massachusetts attorney and three others have been charged in a scheme to smuggle contraband into the Wyatt Detention Facility.
Federal prosecutors say attorney Theresa DiJoseph allegedly received papers soaked in synthetic marijuana from Hanasa Stedford and tried to give them to Wyatt detainees Shawn Hart and Samuel Douglas.
Wyatt correctional officers seized ten sheets of paper that appeared discolored, thicker than normal and consistent with papers that had been soaked and dried.
DiJoseph has not commented. It is unclear when she and the others under the charging document will be arraigned.
